Shannon is an enthusiastic, super friendly and outgoing person with a passion for life and all things outdoors. She loves travel and adventure, meeting new people, and experiencing new things – and if she could live directly on the beach she would!

Shannon has a background in sports management and literature and has always enjoyed creative writing, so when a very close friend of hers asked her if she would consider being her celebrant, Shannon was honoured, and jumped at the exciting challenge. Little did she know at the time, just how rewarding and life changing this honourable opportunity would become!

After becoming qualified and conducting her first ceremony in 2010, Shannon hasn’t looked back. She has since become a full-time celebrant, and thoroughly enjoys every aspect of the role, but none more so than truly capturing the essence of a couple and reflecting that in a lighthearted and memorable ceremony.

For Shannon, being a celebrant is never about standing up front, speaking words of generic love and then signing the legal paperwork. Rather it is a precious relationship that she fosters from the moment she meets a couple through to the moment they become married. Throughout the process she strives to know and understand her couples in order to genuinely celebrate their relationship in the way they wish to.

It is clear that Shannon takes pride in writing and delivering truly personalised and engaging ceremonies that completely fulfil your wishes, and she whole-heartedly appreciates just how special your day is and all the effort that must go into making it just right for you.
