Never before have I witnessed such a well dressed, excitable, enthusiastic and truly international crowd as I did at the memorable wedding of Phoebe and Rob! These guys are absolutely adored by all those around them (including me!)
After meeting back on New Years Day 2015, when they were both sitting on their respective couches, in their respective houses, eating their respective pizzas, and they both swipped right, it didn’t take long for Phoebe and Rob to work out just how perfect they were for each other. They are one of those ‘meant to be’ couples that just make sense! So it came of no surprise to any of their family and friends to hear of their engagement after an utterly romantic and carefully thought out proposal.
Then, it was onto the wedding planning. Rob had always imagined getting married in a church, after all, given he is from the UK, it’s pretty much in his DNA. Phoebe however, imagined a less formal arrangement. So it seems they mastered a key ingredient of successful marriage (compromise) very quickly and in the most beautiful and picturesque way by planning to marry in the stunning Stones of the Yarra Valley Chapel.
Every detail was planned to perfection and every guest made to feel welcome and appreciated. Rob’s brother James so eloquently played the piano, setting the scene as guests excitably shuffled into the stunning chapel adorned with green and white florals by Sugar Bee Flowers.
Watching Phoebe, impeccably dressed in Cappellazzo Couture walk toward an emotional Rob was a sight that still to this day warms my heart. The sheer adoration in his whole face was obvious and so beautiful to witness.
I could ramble on all day describing the day Phoebe and Rob married and just how moving, fun and special it was – but instead I’m going to let the stunning work of The Shannons Photography (talented UK destination photographers) tell the story for you – including the moment Phoebe’s 90 year old gran Shirley stepped up to officially witness the marriage and the ultimate surprise for Phoebe …. when Rob busted out a saxophone solo during the reception – a skill he learned and mastered just for the day – just for his new wife.
Feast your eyes on this one folks! You won’t be disappointed.
